Health and fitness have always played a huge part in my life. Training as a gymnast was my great joy and passion as a child for over 10 years. A career in charity & health care communications and media relations then followed, working for the likes of: Refuge Against Domestic Violence, Women’s Aid, Royal College of Nursing and heart specialist hospital the Royal Brompton London.

I am also a proud mother of four children and want to be their role model on how to be the best version of themselves, teaching them the importance of their physical health and mental wellbeing.

In 2016 I fell in love with the beauty and artistry of Barre and how strong it makes me feel. I saw how Barre helped sculpt and redefine my body shape. I did my Barre training at Barreworks in London and qualified in November 2018. Two weeks later Barre-Physique was born!! And has gone from strength to strength ever since.

High intensity but low impact Barre is the mainstay on my timetable but a new Flexibility and Stretch class has recently been added to compliment your overall body mobility and wellness.

My vision is now to take Barre to a wider audience, through the local NHS community and GPs and outreach disease groups, to help people rediscover the fundamental joys of movement after injury, surgery or long periods of immobility.

To support this I have recently trained and qualified in a Barre For Rehab course led by leading sport physicians at The Forge Clinic in London.

Working is never hard when you love what you do. In fact, all I ever want to do is shout about it from the rooftops!!!

Hope to see you at the Barre!
